Daito’s NEW CNC Drilling and Marking Machine CUDseries features high speed carbide drilling and independent tool changers mounted for each of the 3 drill heads (top, left, and right).
CUD is also available with Daito’s NEW Marking Technology.
‘PRE-WELDING’ is the marking of welding layout lines and product codes.
This new marking system dramatically improves and reduces fabrication / welding time and gives this NEW Daito model an advantage above all others.
In addition to high performance carbide drilling, the CUDseries performs clean, fast and precise weld layout markings as illustrated below. ‘PRE-WELDING’ Together with the optional under-web marking unit it’s possible to mark welding lines and letters on all 4 sides of the work piece. This automation saves time and money all the while dramatically reducing human errors.
For the welding layout marking, either scratching or scribing is available.
※The web bottom marking feature is optional.
Top / left / right drill positions independently without moving the workpiece;
hole pitch and accuracy are always precise.
Three (3) Independent tool changers of max. 5 tools is mounted by each of the top / left / right drill heads. This allows for a variety of uninterrupted drilling / marking operations with different tools.
PINCH ROLLER SYSTEM
The workpiece is fed by powerful pinch rollers located on the in-feed / out-feed sides of the machine. Even the heaviest workpiece is fed efficiently and accurately.
MEASURING DISKS
For precise measurements, twin disks work together. If the measurements of each disk vary, an alarm will be issued to stop the machine.
4 VERTICAL CLAMP ROLLERS
During work/material feed, the four vertical rollers clamp evenly to assist distorted material is firmly held down. Angles and flat bars are also able to be clamped as well as H beams.
FLANGE HEIGHT GAUGES/SUPPORTS
The Flange height gauges not only support flanges, but also measure flange distortion that might remain after being vertically clamped.
WEB HEIGHT GAUGE
The web height gauge check actual web height to allow automatic compensation for possible irregularities.(Optional)
WEB SUPPORTS
Web supports prevent thinner webs from bending under the pressure of drilling. This feature reduces drill bit failure and improves hole quality.
Irregular or manual positioning of workpiece is easy with the laser beam.
Drill chips built up inside the machine are automatically removed by the chip conveyor.
After drilling, the chip sweeper cleans out built-up drill chips from the beam. Making sure no damage to the saw blade edge.
The pendant mounted operation panel can be easily swung to either side of the machine for easy setup and operation.
For the welding layout marking, either scratching or scribing is available. (sample photo is scratching)
Programs are input previously at office; transferred via network or USB stick.
